OIL MANUFACTURING

This oil-manufacturing business in southern Louisiana had two partners in their late 70’s who were best friends. Their business was deeply affected by the BP Oil Spill in 2010. The company has a unique and critical industry niche product. The company was appraised at $9.3 million and sold for $14.4 million.

BUILD TO SELL

The owners of this Texas graphics company decided to sell because they were frustrated, overwhelmed and felt like they were stuck in their business. However Michelle Seiler Tucker and her team partnered with this company to fix and grow it into a sellable company. Since then, the company has continued to grow exponentially.

CASE STUDY 3:
AUTO ACCESSORY STORES

The owner of three car-and-truck accessory stores was adamant about selling his business for $1 million. When the team examined his tax returns, we saw that in one year he was losing money but in the following year he made a profit of only $8,500. Based on those returns, Seiler Tucker could never sell the business for what the owner wanted. By digging deep into his financials, we uncovered a more sizable profit, and sold his business for $1.2 million in 30 days.

CASE STUDY 4:
MANUFACTURING

This deal involved the sale of two companies, one thriving and the other teetering on failure. Though Seiler Tucker only engaged to sell one business, we successfully sold  both businesses together. Seiler Tucker worked with the sellers and then through several business and personal issues to structure a satisfactory deal for all parties. Initial appraisal was $8.4 million for both companies, but eventually they were sold for $18 million.
